Courier Delays - Latest Info

We would like to inform you about unexpected courier delays in certain areas.

Unfortunately, most couriers seem to be affected due to a huge surge in orders being dispatched around the UK with couriers. The Royal Mail strikes have also had a knock on effect with all other couriers as they see an increase in demand for alternative services to those provided by Royal Mail.

As a result, we have switched from using Royal Mail for the majority of our parcels to alternative couriers including Yodel, Evri, DPD, Tuffnells and TNT.

We have had delays with all of the above couriers, but these delays are far less than those we faced with Royal Mail, so we are still using the fastest possible methods to get orders to our customers as promptly as possible.

Over 95% of our parcels are still arriving within the expected delivery time frames, but until the new year we are unable to guarantee delivery lead times.

Express delivery (next day) will still be dispatched on a tracked 24hr service, but we can not guarantee items will arrive within 24 hours. This service will still be quicker than our standard delivery option.

Our standard 3 - 5 working day delivery option remains mostly unaffected, but we are asking to allow an extra 2 - 3 working days in some instances.

Below is links to couriers websites highlighting the above issues, and certain couriers have updated websites to show the areas affected by delays.

Yodel: Our teams are currently delivering a higher-than-normal number of parcels across the country and are currently experiencing delays in a number of areas across the country. Download the Yodel Parcel Tracker app to see a two-hour delivery window for every Yodel delivery on the morning of your delivery. Or you can track your parcel here.

Evri: A spokesperson for Evri said: “We are sorry that customers in some local areas are experiencing short delays in receiving their parcels.

“This is due to a number of factors including Black Friday volumes. Our local teams are working hard to address this and to deliver any delayed parcels over the next few days. We thank everyone for their patience and understanding.

“Evri is currently successfully delivering between 3-4 million parcels every single day.

Please note - Even if your postcode area is not on the list, if the item ordered has traveled to a depot or sortation facility in the affected area your item will still face delays.

If you have any concerns over delivery time frames, please contact us. We will be unable to provide updates to parcels that have been dispatched, but have not yet arrived that are still within the expected delivery time frame.

All items sent are tracked, and tracking information will be emailed to you on the email address provided at the time of order. Please also check junk or spam folders for these updates if not received, and keep an eye on the tracking info provided by the courier.
